Upon reaching Paradise Inn and Visitor Center, prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking views on a clear day. Not only will you be greeted by Rainier - the star of the show, but also the equally stunning Tatoosh Range to the south, and vistas of neighboring Cascade Range Volcanoes, including Mount Adams, St. Helens, and Hood. The summer months come alive with blooming wildflowers, endless trails offering more awe-inspiring views, and the chance to spot native wildlife such as deer and marmots. Unwind in the Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center, complete with a cafeteria, park-films, guided ranger programs (when available), exhibits, and a gift shop. Information on climbing Mount Rainier can be found at the Guide House. In just a few moments, you'll be convinced that you've discovered Paradise!

After leaving Paradise, the park offers an array of amenities depending on the direction you choose. You will have countless options, including campgrounds, waterfalls, accessible and challenging hiking trails, and a completely different perspective of Mount Rainier at Sunrise Visitor Center. The views of the mountain will not disappoint along Stevens Canyon Road or at Tipsoo Lake near the park's east entrance. Exploring the park's diverse ecosystem is a treat for nature lovers, with its varied plant and animal life. The lush meadows, dense forests, and cascading waterfalls create a picturesque setting for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the park hosts ranger-led programs, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn about the geological and cultural history of the area.
